About this artwork
A lone skier carves through the snow in John Ferren's Ski. The artwork captures the dynamic motion of winter sports, set against a stark, snowy landscape.
Ferren's bold use of line and form creates a sense of speed and movement. The skier's bright attire stands out against the cool whites and blues of the snow and sky, while the abstracted landscape adds a sense of depth and dimension. The composition is both simple and complex, with a focus on the skier's form and the interplay of light and shadow.
This poster brings a touch of winter adventure to any space, ideal for a study or a cozy cabin retreat.
