About this artwork
A geometric pattern unfolds across the canvas in Anni Albers' South Of The Border. This artwork presents a rhythmic sequence that draws the eye into its structured dance.
The composition is a study in balance, with horizontal bands of color intersecting vertical lines. Albers employs a palette of earthy reds, soft whites, and muted blacks, creating a sense of harmony and order. The interplay of these elements results in a visual rhythm that is both engaging and calming.
This print finds its place in a study or library, where the interplay of geometry and color can be appreciated in quiet contemplation.
