About this artwork
Delicate lines of varying opacity compose Starlight, a work that exemplifies Agnes Martin's mastery of subtle texture. The surface appears almost woven, with horizontal strokes creating a gentle rhythm across the canvas. The pale gold background glows softly, punctuated by faint vertical lines that suggest a quiet, meditative space. The interplay of light and line invites contemplation, as if capturing the essence of a serene, starlit night. The overall effect is one of tranquility and understated beauty. This poster brings a sense of calm to a study or bedroom, where its quiet presence can be fully appreciated.Questions about Starlight
