About this artwork

An autumn brook winds through a quiet forest in Maxfield Parrish's Study For Autumn Brook. The scene is a masterclass in tranquil composition, where every leaf and ripple seems deliberately placed. Parrish's signature blue palette dominates, but here it is softened by the warm hues of fall foliage. The brook, a ribbon of light, draws the eye through the dense woods. Trees stand tall, their reflections dancing on the water's surface. The interplay of light and shadow creates a sense of depth and movement. This poster brings a sense of calm and reflection to a study or library.
