About this artwork
A pair of hands cradle a small, delicate house in Sublimation 0. This artwork by Louise Bourgeois presents a tender scene, where the gentle touch of the hands suggests a sense of care and protection for the fragile structure within.
The hands, rendered in soft, muted tones, contrast with the stark white of the house. The background is a soft gradient, allowing the viewer's focus to remain on the central image. The simplicity of the composition draws attention to the intricate details of the hands and the house, creating a quiet, intimate moment.
This print fits seamlessly into a study or library, where its contemplative nature can be appreciated.
