About this artwork
A cascade of geometric shapes dances across the canvas in Summer, a vivid exploration by Hans Hofmann. The painting is a symphony of color and form, each element playing its part in a lively composition that feels both spontaneous and deliberate.
The artwork is dominated by a palette of bold reds, blues, and yellows, with rectangular forms overlapping and intertwining. Hofmann's signature push-and-pull technique is evident here, creating a sense of depth and movement. The interplay of warm and cool hues adds a dynamic tension, making the artwork feel alive and pulsating.
This poster brings energy to a modern living room or a contemporary office space, where its vivid colors and dynamic composition can be fully appreciated.
