About this artwork
A radiant sun emerges from a field of white in Sam Francis' Sun Up. The artwork is a celebration of light, capturing the moment when day breaks and the world is bathed in brightness.
The sun, a bold circle of yellow, is the focal point of the piece. It is surrounded by a halo of blue and red splatters, creating a sense of energy and movement. The white background is not pristine but rather a canvas of subtle textures and faint brushstrokes, adding depth and complexity to the composition.
This poster brings a sense of warmth and vitality to any space. It is particularly effective in a room with natural light, where the colors can interact with the changing light throughout the day.
