About this artwork
Folds of fabric spill across the canvas in Sam Gilliam's Tapestry. This artwork is a celebration of color and form, where the medium itself becomes the subject.
The draped fabric creates a dynamic interplay of light and shadow. Rich hues of crimson, ochre, and cobalt dominate the scene, their folds and creases adding depth and texture. The composition is both chaotic and harmonious, a testament to Gilliam's unique approach to abstraction.
This poster brings energy to any room with ample wall space, turning bare walls into a canvas of color and movement.
