About this artwork
A grid of numbers fills the canvas in this artwork by Roman Opalka. Titled Tau, it draws the viewer into a world of precision and repetition. The numbers, meticulously arranged, create a sense of order and rhythm that is both calming and intriguing.
The white numbers stand out against the slightly darker background, creating a subtle contrast that is easy on the eyes. The uniformity of the numbers, all the same size and font, adds to the overall harmony of the piece. The grid-like arrangement gives the artwork a structured feel, while the repetition of numbers adds a dynamic element.
This poster fits well in a study or office, where its orderly aesthetic can complement a space dedicated to focus and thought.
