About this artwork
An archer's bow curves across the canvas in this dynamic piece. The Archer by Paul Jenkins presents a tension of form and color, as if the bowstring has just been released. The energy of the shot is palpable, with streaks of color radiating outward like the trajectory of an arrow. The background is a field of muted tones, providing a stark contrast to the vivid hues of the bow and its imagined path. The composition is both simple and complex, with layers of color and texture inviting closer inspection. This poster brings a sense of movement and energy to any space, making it an ideal choice for a study or office.
