About this artwork
A ladder rises through a sea of metallic circles. The Souls On Jacob's Ladder 6 is Damien Hirst at his most symbolic, where geometry meets the ineffable. The ladder, stark and unadorned, cuts through the precise grid of circles, each one a mirror to the world around it. The cool gold and silver palette reflects light, making the surface dynamic, almost alive. The contrast between the rigid ladder and the repeating circles creates a tension that draws the eye upward, as if climbing toward something just beyond reach. This print thrives in spaces where light shifts throughout the day, revealing new depths in its reflective surface.
