About this artwork
Floating shapes and lines populate this abstract composition. Thirty, created in 1937, is a testament to Kandinsky's mastery of form and color, where each element seems to exist in its own space yet contributes to a harmonious whole.
The artwork is a symphony of geometric shapes, with circles, rectangles, and lines interacting in a dynamic play. The color palette is a mix of bold hues, including deep blues, vibrant reds, and bright yellows, all set against a stark white background. The precise placement of each shape creates a sense of balance and rhythm, drawing the viewer's eye across the canvas.
