About this artwork
Three rectangles sit in a dynamic arrangement in this abstract composition by Wassily Kandinsky. The painting is a study in contrast and balance, with each rectangle distinct yet harmoniously connected to the others. The use of bold colors and geometric shapes creates a sense of movement and energy.
The largest rectangle, a deep blue, anchors the composition. It is flanked by a bright yellow rectangle on one side and a red rectangle on the other. The yellow rectangle is slightly tilted, adding a sense of dynamism to the scene. The red rectangle, smaller than the other two, is positioned at an angle, creating a visual tension that draws the eye.
This poster brings a bold, modern energy to any space. It works well in a contemporary living room or a creative studio.
