About this artwork
Surgical tools and gleaming instruments fill the canvas in Damien Hirst's Till Death Do Us Part. The complete set of prints is both clinical and arresting, a signature blend of the artist's provocative style.
The composition is meticulously arranged, each tool isolated against a stark white background. The cool steel and polished surfaces reflect Hirst's fascination with medicine and mortality. There's an unsettling precision here, a contrast between the sterile environment and the implied violence of the tools.
This poster commands attention in a study or library, where its intellectual rigor and stark beauty can be fully appreciated.
