About this artwork
A condor soars over a bull, its wings outstretched in a stark silhouette. This is Torocondor, a study in contrast by Alejandro Obregon. Shades of ochre and sienna clash with stark cobalt, rendered in vigorous crosshatching. An air of defiance permeates the scene. In a space with abundant light, this piece holds its own. In a room with natural textures, it finds its rhythm.
