About this artwork
A deep cobalt blue splits the canvas, sharp against the white. This is Untitled by Carmen Herrera, a study in contrast and precision. The blue is unmodulated, flat, and absolute, asserting its presence without apology. The composition is deceptively simple. Two blue triangles meet at a right angle, their edges aligning perfectly with the corners of the artwork. The white ground is not merely background but an active participant, pressing against the blue with equal force. The tension between the shapes creates a sense of balance, a quiet equilibrium. This poster holds its own in a minimalist setting. The stark contrast and clean lines complement modern furniture, reinforcing the clarity of the space.Questions about Untitled
