About this artwork
A single eye gazes outward in this untitled work by Forrest Bess. The artwork draws you in with its directness, creating an immediate connection between viewer and subject. The composition is simple yet profound, with the eye set against a muted, earthy background. The colors are subdued, allowing the subject to dominate the scene. Bess's use of line and form is evident, with the eye appearing almost sculptural in its rendering. This poster would fit well in a study or reading nook, where its contemplative nature can be fully appreciated.Questions about Untitled
