About this artwork
A horizontal band of green rests atop a field of yellow. This is Untitled - Color Field Painting by Blinky Palermo, a study in simplicity and contrast. The unadorned composition draws the eye to the interplay of color and form, inviting contemplation of its bold, unmodulated hues. The upper green band stretches across the canvas, its edges crisp against the yellow expanse below. There is no shading, no texture, no visible brushwork—just pure, flat color. The longer you look, the more the relationship between the two tones shifts, as if the green is advancing or receding. This poster commands attention in a minimalist space, where its quiet intensity can anchor a room without competition.Questions about Untitled - Color Field Painting
