About this artwork
Peaks rise in rhythmic repetition across this untitled work by Omar Rayo. The 1955 composition plays with perception, using geometric forms to suggest mountain ranges and valleys in an abstract landscape. The artwork employs a limited black and white palette to create depth and texture. Rayo's precise lines and patterns generate a sense of movement, as if the mountains are shifting before your eyes. The interplay of light and shadow adds complexity to the seemingly simple design. This poster brings a meditative quality to quiet spaces like studies or reading nooks.Questions about Untitled (mountains)
