About this artwork
An abstract face emerges from bold color blocks. Alexej von Jawlensky's Variation plays with form and hue, creating a visual rhythm that draws the eye inward.
The composition is a symphony of geometric shapes and vivid tones. A palette of deep blues, fiery reds, and earthy greens dominates the canvas. The face, though abstracted, retains a sense of humanity through the careful balance of these elements.
This poster brings focus to a study or library, inviting contemplation.
