About this artwork

Bright blooms burst from a simple vase, their petals wide open. This is *Vase With Flowers*, a 1968 piece by Aldemir Martins that turns the ordinary into something extraordinary. Martins' bold strokes and rich colors bring these flowers to life. The background is a flat, warm yellow, pushing the flowers forward. Each bloom is distinct, with rough edges and visible brushwork that give them energy. The vase itself is unassuming, letting the flowers take center stage. This poster brings a cheerful, lively feel to a kitchen or breakfast nook, where its warmth can shine.
