About this artwork
Intersecting lines create a grid in this textile design. Anni Albers' Wall Hanging 1 is a study in precision and craftsmanship. The artwork's geometric pattern is both complex and orderly, inviting closer inspection.
The composition is a symphony of vertical and horizontal threads. Warm ochre tones dominate, punctuated by subtle variations in texture. The interplay of light and shadow adds depth, revealing Albers' mastery of weaving as an art form. Each line contributes to a larger, harmonious whole.
This print brings warmth to minimalist spaces. It complements modern interiors where clean lines and thoughtful design are valued.
