About this artwork
The title suggests self-reflection, an artist confronting his own name. *Wayne* is more than a label; it’s a study in quiet confidence, a portrait that feels both personal and universal. Thiebaud’s brushwork softens the edges of the face, blending ochre and umber into a warm complexion. The background fades to a muted taupe, ensuring the subject remains the focus. There’s a gentle shadow along the jawline, hinting at depth without overpowering the simplicity. This print belongs in a space that values introspection—a study, a quiet corner, or a hallway where it can invite a pause.Questions about Wayne
