About this artwork
The title is a playful nod to the artist himself. This self-portrait, titled Wayne, offers a glimpse into Thiebaud's artistic persona, rendered with his characteristic touch and sensitivity. Thiebaud's use of soft, muted colors creates a gentle atmosphere. The artwork focuses on the artist's face, with subtle shadows and highlights that give depth to his features. The background remains indistinct, drawing attention to the quiet introspection in his expression. This print suits a study or a quiet corner where contemplation is welcomed.Questions about Wayne
