About this artwork
A man’s gaze meets ours in this portrait by Wayne Thiebaud. The artwork, titled Wayne, presents a quiet moment of connection, the subject’s expression both gentle and knowing. The background fades to a soft blur, ensuring our focus remains on the face before us. The artist’s hand is evident in the careful strokes that define the subject’s features.
