About this artwork
A man’s face, rendered with quiet precision, anchors this portrait. Wayne (137) presents a study in subtle expression, where the artist’s hand is both gentle and deliberate. Thiebaud’s use of muted greens and soft browns creates a harmonious palette. The subject’s features are defined by delicate lines, and the background remains uncluttered, drawing focus to the face. Shadows play lightly across the skin, adding depth without drama. This understated portrait suits a study or bedroom, where its calm presence can be appreciated up close.Questions about Wayne
