About this artwork
A woman's face emerges from a sea of blue, her lips parted as if gasping for air. This is Welcome To The Water Planet, a surreal dive into Rosenquist's imagination. The artwork blends human features with aquatic hues, creating a dreamlike underwater world that feels both familiar and alien.
The composition is dominated by swirling blues and greens, punctuated by the stark contrast of the woman's lips and the fragmented text. Rosenquist's signature pop art style is evident in the bold colors and the way he plays with scale and perspective. The image seems to shift and move, drawing the viewer into its depths.
This poster brings a sense of intrigue and mystery to any room. It's a conversation starter, perfect for adding depth to a modern living space.
