About this artwork
A fractured white surface commands attention in White Cretto. This 1975 piece by Alberto Burri presents a landscape of fissures and crevices, a terrain of quiet intensity.
The artwork's surface is a network of cracks, each one telling a story of tension and release. The white is not pristine but lived-in, with subtle variations that hint at depth and history. It's a study in texture, where the absence of color becomes a statement in itself.
This poster finds its place in spaces that appreciate understated complexity. It complements minimalist decor while inviting closer inspection.
