About this artwork
A barren plain stretches beneath a sky filled with swirling clouds. In Yves Tanguy's 'Wind', the viewer is drawn into a desolate yet fascinating world, where the forces of nature reign supreme.
The artwork presents a stark contrast between the empty foreground and the tumultuous sky above. The clouds, rendered in shades of gray and white, seem to twist and turn with an almost sentient energy. Below, the earth is a muted palette of browns and ochres, devoid of life but rich in texture.
This poster brings a sense of quiet intensity to a study or library.
